So I somehow have to figure out how to pull $1500 out of my a$$ starting today(that is rent, utilities, car, insurance, basic food and H2O). That is right. my last paycheck, which BTW is not even enough to cover the rent and utilities, for June....*GULP*

OH yeah, I RAISED this VERY effing question when I was "converted" to the payrole. I specifically asked if I would be paid for "summer" break. I was advised that teacher don't have a choice with this company, we are REQUIRED to be paid on a 12 month/26 week pay.
*ahem* SO why am I now SUDDENLY as if they couldn't have sent me an e-mail or SOMETHING?!?!?!?

IF I would have KNOWN I was not going to get paid for 8 weeks, I would have been WAY more proactive in getting a "summer" job. HELLLO??????? Even more, I would have been socking cash away too!!! I do own and operate a cash business for crying out loud!

Sorry to welcome you to the boat. We went from one school board that paid you on exactly the same day every single month of the year... to one that insists on refusing to pay their teachers for "doing nothing" over the summer months. Yeah... it sucks. Especially when you have to dip into the savings for stupid things like tires and such.
